The Sixteenth Avenue Theatre is increasingly being seen as a desirable venue for touring entertainers.

Recent successfull performances in our theatre include: Tim Watts (The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik), The Grimstones - Hatched, Gavin Rutherford (C'mon Black). Yvette Parsons (Silent Night), Flaxworks (Drowning in Veronica Lake), Tauranga Tap Dance Association, Beyondsemble, Don McGlashan.

Extension and upgrading of the flytower is completed. The upgrading of the high level working area improves safety and convenience and complies with all the code requirements plus new data and tele-communications systems and new rigging and lighting bars..
