Membership
The base of our society is our membership.By paying a nominal annual fee people can become involved in the various aspects of the theatre and help influence the future of live theatre in this region. Volunteering for production crew roles is a great way to meet people, make friends, use existing skills or learn new ones, contribute to the community and have fun enjoying a hobby.
The best way to acquaint yourself of what is going on in the theatre is to become a member now. Upon paying your fee you automatically receive a monthly newsletter and concessions to Repertory shows for the financial year (1st March to the 28th February). The monthly newsletter keeps members up to date with what is going on at the theatre, including upcoming shows with their various requirements. Tauranga Repertory Society currently stages 4 or 5 shows a year.

There are lots of interests that you can pursue within the society including:
Set construction, Set finishing, Makeup, Wardrobe, Lighting, Sound, Stage Management, Props, Acting, Prompt, Front of House, Hospitality and Bar, Theatre Maintenance, Set Construction, Publicity etc... Our picture shows members taking down the set used in "Some Girl(s), (click on it to enlarge).
